I'm so glad this manga is coming into apportionment again- information technology's been a while since the original singular volumes were published (the start i, Cirque Du Freak, Vol. 1 was published 2009, the last Cirque Du Freak: Sons of Destiny, Vol. 12 in 2012).

This is such a great adaptation of the original series past Darren Shan- you tin can tell the adapter worked very hard to capture the original feeling of the series. I was happy to find I enjoyed it just as much equally I did when I was a kid- not going to lie, th

I'1000 and then glad this manga is coming into apportionment over again- it'south been a while since the original singular volumes were published (the first one, Cirque Du Freak, Vol. ane was published 2009, the terminal Cirque Du Freak: Sons of Destiny, Vol. 12 in 2012).

This is such a great adaptation of the original serial past Darren Shan- you lot can tell the adapter worked very hard to capture the original feeling of the serial. I was happy to find I enjoyed it only equally much as I did when I was a kid- non going to lie, the nostalgia striking me difficult with this 1. There's something so fun about this manga; it'south such a good combination of horror, coming-of-age, action, sense of humor, and gore- all balanced with the perfect amount of levity.

I volition say one thing since it isn't mentioned in the notes: the autobus is a combined edition of Cirque Du Freak, Vol. one and Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, Vol. 2- there isn't any new material besides the full color prints of the covers in the front of the volume. Too included is the showtime chapter of the original novel A Living Nightmare.

At kickoff I was surprised information technology was only 2 volumes- merely for the price, $27 CAD vs $17 for the individual volumes, which rose from around $14 when I was a kid and aren't widely available anymore (which I should know, since I piece of work at a bookstore and have been trying like hell to go my easily on them), it'south non a bad deal. Practise I wish they were total color or had more bonus material? Yeah- but I'm also merely happy these are being rereleased and then a new generation can savor this amazing series.
